Typhoon Fitow makes landfall on the east China coast.

Typhoon Fitow has made the landfall as reported in the media world wide, China earlier issued a red alert on Sunday, and evacuated thousands of people from vulnerable areas along the east coast of the country. Fishing vessels were recalled and an alert has been sounded all along the coast for the fisherman to not to venture into the sea.

The typhoon appears to have weakened after the landfall from the satellite images. There is still no clear picture about the impact.

 A research piece in the International Journal of Science claims, the nerve responses of the stomach of an obese person gets damaged, due to this reason the person under observation will never know when he gets full and does not stop eating.

That happens even where the said person returns to a normal diet, but the nervous response remains the same, that means, eating more to get that sense of fullness and feeling hungry all the time.

The research funded by National Health and Medical Research Council is published in International Journal on Obesity.

Pakistan hit by 7.7 Eathquake

 Latest news is Pakistan is hit by a magitude 7.7 Earthquake on Tuesday. At least two people are reportedly dead. U.S. Geological Survey issues red alert. Telecommunications are reported to be down in the area. Reports of large scale house collapse. Epicenter is located in South West of Pakistan in Baluchistan.

Angela Merkels' centre-right Christian Democratic party has shown best performance in 23 years winning 42 % of votes in the elections contested on Sunday. This leaves her party for more negotiations with other party to form a coalition.

Hong Kong  city International Airport earlier cancelled several incoming and outgoing flights owing to the severe weather.

Two people are reportedly killed.

Germany heading for elections

Germany is heading for elections on 22nd September and opinion polls suggest Chancellor Angela Merkel will return to power, but her coalition partners are said to be lagging behind and Conservative Christian Democratic alliance(CDU-CSU) to which Ms Merkel belong may have to look for support from rival party Social Democrats(SPD) if they could not win the mandate on their own coalition partners.

Germany's elections are crucial for whole of the European Union(EU) and Eurozone stability.
